Influenster #GoVoxBox

I was really excited to receive this box. There were so many good things in it! First I'll start off with the foot products. I already reviewed my Profoot Pedi-Rock and Orthotics in another post so I will just write a quick blurb about them. I really liked the product, they were good quality and worked just like they were supposed to. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and followers.  Next we will talk about the Aqua Spa body cream.  This is a HUGE tube of lavender and chamomile body cream. It smells good, but the scent is a little thick. I wish it were a bit lighter.  Otherwise the quality of the body creme is very good. A little goes a long way and it added a lot of moisture to my skin. Once it's absorbed the scent isn't as strong, so I guess that is good. I will definitely be using it until it's gone and would recommend it to my friends and followers.
Next up is the Playtex Fresh Balance Tampons, which I also reviewed previously. I have to say that I'm not a fan, mainly because these are scented tampons.  If they weren't scented they would be fine. The scent on them is just overwhelming and they did irritate my skin a bit.
I also received a Jaxx Shaker and a 3 pack of shakes from The Vitamin Shoppe.  I usually don't like these supplement shakes, but these ones weren't that bad. I don't think it is something that I would use every day, but I could see me enjoying these shakes occasionally. Plus the Jaxx Shaker that came with them is way cool!
I also got a Diamond nuts snack pack. I got blueberry flavored almonds and they barely made it 5 minutes after I took them out of the box. My boyfriend and I fought over who was going to get to eat them and we chowed them down. I luckily got a picture of my box when I first opened it, but I didn't get to use my snack pack for my video because it was gone so fast! They were really good. 

I also got a coupon for Muller Greek Yogurt. It is another one of those food items that got chowed down in 2.5 seconds. Really, really good, rich yogurt. I could eat this stuff every day. It's delicious!

#MullerQuaker Greek Yogurt

I got a coupon in my most recent Influenster #GoVoxBox for Muller Yogurt from Quaker. I could barely decide which yogurt I wanted to try. All of the flavors look fantastic, but I finally settled on the Greek low fat yogurt with caramelized almonds. The yogurt was very rich and creamy and the added almonds were the perfect touch of sweetness and crunch. This yogurt is great for a snack or a morning meal. I could eat it every day. It's that tasty. I would recommend this brand to all my friends. I actually can't wait to get back to the store to stock up on more. It's that good. Thanks Influenster and Muller!

Platex Sport Fresh Balance

I received a box of Playtex Fresh Balance tampons in regular absorbency for testing purposes from @PlaytexSportandGentleGlide and @Influenster. 

I have to say that I did not really like this product. I don't really use tampons anymore anyway, but these were scented and boy were they scented. The flowery smell coming from them was overwhelming, even with the box closed.  I used exactly one before I decided that I just couldn't stand the scent.  I wasn't even going to take the risk of throwing my body chemistry out of whack by trying to continue to use these things. Scented products are just bad for your vagina. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.  I'm sure there are people out there that can used scented products like that internally without any problems but I am not one of them.  The brand isn't bad. I would use their regular unscented tampons, just not a fan of the scented ones.

ProFoot from Influenster. #GoPROFOOT

I received a ProFoot Triad Orthotic and a ProFoot Pedi-Rock in my most recent  @Influenster box for testing purposes. I was really excited when I saw that I was getting foot care products. I'm on my feet a lot and I love being able to pamper my feet.  First I'm going to talk about the Triad Orthotic. It's an insert that you slip in your shoes that is supposed to cushion your feet and provide support for your arches. It's also supposed to provide relief from back, knee and leg pain.  I have a lot of knee and lower back pain, so I was excited to try out this product and see if it would actually help relieve some of my pain. I put the inserts into my work shoes and spent a couple days working in a restaurant kitchen.  I found the Triad Orthotics to be very comfortable. I could tell a difference in my stance when I had them in my shoes. I have a lot of knee problems and I feel like the inserts helped me stand in a way that put less of a strain on my knees while providing the extra support I needed. I would recommend these to anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet during the day.

Next I will review the Profoot Pedi-Rock. Can I just say that I love this thing! IT'S AWESOME! I like that you can use it wet or dry. I like to use it in the tub at the end of a bath. I find that it works the best when the feet have had some time to be softened up by soaking them in water. I scrubbed my feet with it and it left the bottoms feeling very smooth and soft. It also works really well dry, but I prefer to use it wet. It's rather large so it's easy to grip and the shape makes it perfect to get all the odd spots on the bottoms of your feet. The texture of the rock comes from silicon carbide crystals, it is not so rough that it feels uncomfortable or too fine to actually work, it's just right. I've used the rock probably 5 times since I got it and it is still going strong. As long as you make sure to rinse and dry it after every use it should last.

Colgate Optic White fom Influenster

I was excited to be included in the Colgate Optic White VoxBox from Influenster.  I got my box and opened it with glee. My first impression was that it was a really cool design.  It's definitely not like any other toothbrush I had seen.

I got started on testing right away. I was happy that they included a test tube of Colgate Optic White toothpaste. It was the perfect compliment. The toothpaste had a minty taste without being overpowering. So I brush, brush, brushed, then I popped the whitening pen out of the end of the brush. Two clicks for the top teeth and two clicks for the bottom was more than enough whitening paste to cover my teeth. At first I was a little worried that the paste was going to be visible on my teeth throughout the day, but it after a couple minutes it wasn't noticeable.

So far I've used the new brush and pen for 3 days and I have noticed that my teeth are getting whiter. It's an easy to use system and I love how the pen fits in the brush.  My tips for the whitening pen is that you dry your teeth off before you use it. It makes it easier for the gel/paste to adhere to your teeth.  I can't think of any recommendations for this brush, but for a future brush I would love to see one that has an insert that slides in like the whitening pen except that it is full of toothpaste, and you could click the handle and toothpaste would come out of the brush!  I think that would be really cool and handy.

Influenster Jolly VoxBox

There were lots of goodies to try in this year's Influenster Jolly VoxBox. A who box of Skinny Cow Divine Filled Chocolates in Peanut Butter Creme. A roll of Mini Ducklings Ducktape. NYC New York Color HD Color Trio in Long Beach Sands. Rimmel London Showoff Lip Lacquer in Luna. And A pack of Puffs Plus Lotion Tissues.

Though I was expecting a little more out of a holiday box I have to say I'm pleased with all the products in the box.  The Skinny Cow treats are DELICIOUS! I shared them with my boyfriend and had to hide them because he wanted to eat them all.

The Puffs tissues when right into my purse because they're always good to have on hand especially in the winter.  I know that I needed them and have used them more than once since I got my box. They're soft and I think they are the reason my nose hasn't gotten sore.

The Ducttape Mini Duckling roll is just darling. It's little, miniature and cute. I also stuck this in my purse, because who knows when you'll need ducktape!

The Rimmel London Showoff Lip Lacquer is great! I like the color I received, it's a color I will actually wear.  I put some on today and was happy to find out that it's hydrating and it lasts. I've rubbed my lips together about 1000 times today and it's still on.

Finally I wrote a separate blog for the NYC HD Color Trio, but would like to say that for being an inexpensive brand the eyeshadow is a good quality and it lasts.  The colors in the palette are nice for everyday wear and are a little more practical than my usual eye colors.

NYC New York Color HD Color Trio in Long Beach Sands

I really love the NYC New York Color brand.  I've been using it for years.  My favorite thing about it is that it's an accessible, inexpensive brand.  I was really pleased when the HD Color Trio showed up in my Jolly VoxBox from Influenster. 
The palette came in neutral shades that have just a hint of shimmer.  The suggested use has the darker color as the all over eye color but I will probably switch it with the crease color because I like the effect of a darker color there. I absolutely love the highlighter color and will probably use it up before the rest of the palette.
The consistency of the eyeshadow is powdery without being too dry or chalky and when applied with a brush over primer the color pops and stays on for hours.
